RBS level lifts for piese goods ensure the fast and reliable vertical transport of materials in intralogistics.
With the existing broad selection of standardized vertical conveyors, individual tasks, including the material provision on various building levels, can be performed. The vertical conveyors are made of aluminium profiles and designed for maximum stability during multi-level delivery.
The modular design of the RBS conveyor technology enables the quick and easy integration of level lifts into the overall system.
The RBS piece goods level lifts are planned, according to the performance requirements, in discontinuous column design or as paternoster lifts. These circulating conveyors are equipped with a closed drive system and can be used as C-lifts or S-lifts.
In general, all free-standing RBS level lifts are fitted with complete protective covers. All access points, both for free-standing pallet lifts and for lifts integrated in the lift shaft, are secured in close consultation with the existing safety departments. A wide variety of automatic high-speed doors, safety gear and access control systems are available for this purpose.
Ergonomic and economical
Workstations actively support the employees in their work and are individually adapted to the local requirements and workflow - ergonomically and functionally.
The workstations are adjusted to the tasks and needs of the employees with different configurations using RBS standard components and customer-specific elements.
This results in individually adjustable workstations, for example ...
... or simply a solid worktable combination with different shelf heights in various angle arrangements.
There are almost no limits to individualization.
The RBS overhead conveyor BK30 is suitable for the transport of unit loads weighing up to 60 kg with a minimum usable conveyor distance of 152.40 mm.
It is characterised by its high flexibility in the implementation of the line management.
Possible areas of application are the transport of piece goods between processing stations, cooling lines, the return of empties, conveying through painting and coating systems, conveying in a final assembly area or in the shipping area.
The guideway consists of a slotted pipe that protects the link chain inside from contamination. This and the compact design make such a continuous conveyor particularly suitable for soiled environments.
The chain, with joints made of heavy-duty sintered metal on the moving parts, fulfils a double function: It acts as a means of traction and a means of carrying loads.
The drive power of the tow drive is adjusted to the throughput rate. This allows constant or infinitely variable conveying speeds of 1 to 28 m/min. The conveyor routing is very variable and can be used with very small horizontal and vertical curves in confined spaces and easily adapted to structural conditions. The curved pipes are case-hardened in the inner track and are therefore particularly wear-resistant. A maintenance opening is intended for the retraction of the chain during assembly and for simple chain control during operation. The tensioning station with a self-adjusting tensioning technology prevents that the chain tension decreases and impairs the conveying capacity.
RBS sorting systems range from manual distribution to computer-controlled automatic systems.
All sorting systems are planned and manufactured individually according to the requirements of the customers’ processes and specifications.
The basis for this are proven components from the RBS modular range, which can be used to implement a wide variety of functions and subsequent extensions.
State-of-the-art distribution technology with discharge modules suitable for the conveyed material ensure high throughput rates and increased efficiency. Various RBS modules such as pop-up modules, roller discharge modules, belt discharge modules, swivel arm pushers, rotation pushers etc. are available for sorting
The dimensions of the individual modules can always be individually adjusted to the requirements. In combination with appropriate conveying equipment and suitable feeding technology, complete systems for sorting piece goods and small parts in internal logistics are obtained.
Process sequences, which have been automated and intensified in this way, save time and money, and improve competitiveness. .
The requirements in intralogistics undergo constant changes: rapidly varying package sizes, weights and packaging units. Flexibility through modularity, combined with easy maintenance and uncomplicated additions, is the need to be met.
Each RBS unit load conveyor system is unique. It is assembled from a modular system with individual modular elements and modules
An RBS system solution does not end with classic elements such as roller, accumulation and belt conveyors. Depending on the application, individually tailored modules can be supplemented with the required functions.
With its flexible modular system, RBS finds a suitable solution for every individual task, taking into account both functional and economic aspects.
